1. Warranty Coverage: Prevalent Automotive Pvt. Ltd. (“Prevalent”) hereby offers a comprehensive warranty for its two-wheeler electric motorcycles. This warranty covers manufacturing defects that may arise during the specified warranty period.
2. Warranty Period: The warranty period for the two-wheeler electric moped begins from the date of purchase by the original owner and continues for the following durations:
Battery: 3 years or 30,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Frame and Chassis: 2 years or 50,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. (Only Valid for manufacturing defects)
Other Components: 1 year or 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. (Wear and tear components are not included under warranty.)
Disclaimer: Warranty will be given against the manufacturing Defects.
3. Warranty Coverage Details: During the warranty period, Prevalent will provide free repair or replacement of any part or component that is found to be defective due to manufacturing defects. The warranty covers the cost of parts and labour required to rectify the issue.
4. Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover the following:
Normal Wear and Tear: Parts and components that naturally degrade over time due to regular use.
Accidental Damage: Damages resulting from accidents, collisions, improper handling, misuse, neglect, or any non-standard use of the vehicle.
Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations, modifications, or installations not approved by Prevalent.
Routine Maintenance: Regular maintenance tasks such as tire replacements, brake adjustments, and chain lubrication.
Consumables: Items with a limited lifespan, including brake pads, tires, filters, and fluids.
External Accessories: Accessories not originally installed by Prevalent.
5. Warranty Claims: To initiate a warranty claim, the owner must contact an authorized prevalent service certified or approved centres. The owner must provide proof of purchase and the vehicle’s maintenance records, if required. Prevalent reserves the right to inspect the vehicle to verify the nature and cause of the issue before approving the warranty claim.
6. Service and Repairs: All repairs and service work carried out under warranty must be performed by authorized prevalent service centres. Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
7. Transfer of Warranty: The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner of the two-wheeler electric motorcycle.
8. Limitation of Liability: Prevalent liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts, as specified in this warranty. Prevalent shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of the vehicle.
9. Modifications to the Warranty Policy: Prevalent reserves the right to modify or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
By purchasing and using a prevalent two-wheeler electric moped, the owner acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this warranty policy.

What is the warranty Duration?
The warranty duration is 12 months/ 10000 km (whichever comes first) for the complete moped and 36 months/ 30000 km (whichever comes first) for the battery pack from the time of the sale of the moped (Wear and tear components are not included under warranty. Disclaimer: Warranty will be given against the manufacturing Defects, for more kindly refer to the warranty policy). Tyre warranty to be given by the Tyre manufacturer.
